Description
This is a circa 1917 Rolex pocket watch measuring 42mm and having an all-dial appearance. The dial is all original and amazing with a sunburst-raised pattern, large sub-seconds and amazing original clover hands. The case is signed “Platinette,” which is likely a mix of platinum, rhodium and plated over metal, making this watch more interesting and valuable. The very fine movement by Rolex is among the best – adjusted to six positions. This movement was just fully serviced and is running accurately. With the naked eye, this watch looks almost pristine.
