Description
Here is a vintage Rolex Trench watch in sterling silver, dating to 1918. This men’s watch measures 26x29mm and was the normal size during this era. The dial appears original, with Roman numerals, red ’12’ and sub-seconds indicator. Often, the word Rolex was added on these very early dials, so that is a distinct possibility, but the rest of the dial does look original. The spade blued steel handset is original as well. The sterling silver case is signed Rolex, as is the properly Rolex-signed manual winding 15-jewel Aegler/Rebberg movement. The watch was expensively serviced and is accurate within two minutes per day. The leather band is a WW1 military style leather. The onion crown was replaced with the same style. This watch will draw many eyes to your wrist.
