Description
This is a very early 31mm vintage Rolex Oyster circa 1920s housed in an uncommon three-piece sterling silver case with reed bezel, original radium dial, and correct winding crown. The fine Rolex manual winding movement was just cleaned and is accurate. This is among the very first Rolex Oyster watches and is similar to Mercedes Glietze’s Rolex Oyster she wore to swim the English Channel in 1927. These early Rolex watches are becoming hard to find and are an important part of Rolex history.
