Description
This is an early Longines dating to 1925 in 9k solid rose gold. The hinged case measures 23.5×35.5mm and is only 8.5mm thick. Notice the handcarved filigree on the case sides and the original rose-coloured winding crown. The dial was expertly restored, retaining the original hands and it looks fabulous! I would guess the dial was restored many years ago. This manual winding Longines movement was just cleaned and is keeping time. This is a very classic-looking watch on the wrist. Most dealers agree, as do I, that Longines watches are undervalued currently.
