1930s Didisheim Locust

Description

Here is a fine, quite rare 1930s Didisheim Locust-model watch measuring 25x39mm! The Didisheim family started in the watch business in 1850 and were partners in the Marvin Watches Co. They also produced Lancet and Prima watches, and for a short time even produced Rolex movements! This very rare and interesting watch features rounded corners, decorative, stepped, hinged case, and a mirrored dial that was perfectly restored as per the original with blued steel hands. The manual winding movement was just cleaned, overhauled, and is keeping excellent time! A very uncommon and collectable vintage watch that is absolutely stunning on the wrist.
