Description
This is a correct, late-1930s Rolex manual winding watch measuring a respectable 22x40mm, in a rhodium-plated and stepped, striking case. We had the original case re-plated in rhodium to restore its luster. This is a Canadian-version Rolex, with an unsigned Canadian case, which Rolex used to circumvent import duties back in the 1930s-1940s. This case is completely correct and original to the watch. The dial was restored, whilst retaining the original hands. The original Rolex manual winding movement is also interesting, being fully gilded in a gold tone, having Geneva stripes. It was just cleaned, and is accurately keeping time.
