1930s Rolex Centregraph

Description

Look at this extremely rare, 1930s, all-original Rolex Centregraph! We usually see the Centregraph in the round, Oyster case having the similar caliber 59 movement, but not this variety! The tonneau-shaped, curved original Rolex case, with filigree bezel, has a stainless steel, curved (signed) original Rolex case back. The original gold-filled case is really in fantastic condition with no major wear through. The original dial with red 24-hour military scale and raised gold Arabic numerals (numerals interestingly cut to fit the 24-hour scale) is still in very good condition for its age! Notice the blued steel (original) sweep seconds hand! The manual winding 17-jewel Rolex movement is signed Rolex under the dial as we see in the later centregraphs. This movement was just cleaned and is keeping time quite well. The case measures 22.5x41mm in length. It is very rare to see a oblong, cushion case style.
