Description
This is a very special ladies Rolex Extra Prima cocktail watch dating to the mid-1930s and having a 14k solid-gold original case signed “Chester” with four sparkling authentic diamonds inlaid on each bezel. Chester was a name Rolex trademarked and used in the early days. The case on this watch measures 18mm across and 29mm lug to lug. The case really is extremely well-preserved for a watch of this age. The movement is a manual winding Extra Prima, which was one of the best Rolex movements produced in the era. The original dial on the Rolex is really lovely with salmon-toned, reflective minute track and matching raised Arabic numerals. The pencil-style metal hands are original to the watch. This a very rare little Rolex that should only increase in value over time.
