The Rolex Prince is truly the most iconic of all Rolex watches produced. This version was marketed in Canada. Being 10k gold-filled and having a Wadsworth case (made in Canada for Rolex) enabled Rolex to circumvented import duties, and save overall cost. The 20.5x44mm expertly re-plated case looks perfect. The Rolex Prince movement is a marvel – this one having a 50-hour power reserve, which is quite accurate after a meticulous dismantling and cleaning. The watchmaker who worked on this movement is truly a Rolex-Prince expert who is in his late 70s, with a lifetime of experience passionately working on Princes. The dial on this watch retains the original raised gold-toned Arabic numerals and sub-seconds and the print and paint was expertly restored to perfection. The handset is original.
