Description
This 1930s 20.5×38.5mm chrome-case Rolex is truly a stunner! This watch was made for the Canadian market and is all correct. The rectangular contract case is unsigned and correct, as these watches were imported from Rolex Switzerland and cased in North America to circumvent import duties. The dial and blued steel hands are all original. This case is very Rolex ‘Prince-like.’ This dial is amazing with its large art-deco-styled numerals. The Rolex Prima movement is among the best they made at the time, and was used in their finest watches. This movement is adjusted to six positions, was just cleaned and is accurately keeping time. These early Rolex are undervalued.
