Description
This vintage ladies Swiss-made Superva is extremely well preserved, considering it dates to the late 1930s! This watch is not ordinary, due to its larger-than-average-cocktail-watch size (25mm). On the wrist, the original ridged-pattern dial with crisp Arabic print, fancy blued steel hands, and sub-seconds indication is very easy to read. The stainless steel case is unusual, as chrome-plated cases are most often found from this era. The 17-jewel manual winding Swiss movement sparkles after being cleaned by our watchmaker. A new cotton cord band with steel hardware is installed, which is identical to what would have been on the watch when new! Likely, someone placed this watch in a box, safely in a drawer and didn’t touch it for over half a century.
