Description
This 1930s hinged-case 25x36mm Vulcain is uncommon because it is solid 18k yellow gold with wire lugs! This watch has a cabochon, sapphire winding crown and is hand-engraved on the case sides, adding to its vintage allure. The very fine chronometer-grade manual winding Vulcain movement was recently cleaned and is accurate. The dial was expensively and expertly refinished in art-deco style with exaggerated art-deco numerals and sunken sub-seconds, whilst maintaining the original blued steel hands.
