This is a 1939 Rolex Oyster Leigh Precision measuring 30mm and is a boy’s size (smaller). Please do not buy this watch if you do not like smaller watches. This is a very uncommon variation, as we don’t see the Rolex Oyster Leigh appear but once a decade or so! This dial with 12:00, 3:00, 6:00, 9:00 raised gold-toned configuration having matching pencil hands and sweep seconds is entirely original. The Oyster-patented winding crown is also correct. This steel case with early Rolex coronet on the case back is shimmering. The movement is a very high-quality Rolex manual winding 18-jewel that was adjusted to six positions, making it the more desirable of the boys-sized movements.
