Description
Here is a Universal Geneve Royal Dutch military watch that survived WW2 quite well! The original dial is glossy black, having sub-seconds with concentric circles, white Arabic numerals, and original radium dagger hands. It is signed “UNIVERSAL GENEVE” and “U.W.” which was a Royal Dutch Army issue watch mark. This watch dates to 1939, which was just before the German occupation of Netherlands, making this watch-issue extremely rare! The chrome-plated (bezel and side) case measures 30mm, which was the standard military size for the era. It has very minor wear considering its age! The dial is quite clean with some lume dots missing, but nothing detracting.
