Here is an art-deco-style, circa 1940 vintage all-steel Westfield (by Bulova) swing-lug vintage watch! Bulova registered the name “Westfield” and also manufactured watches under this name. This particular watch is a prize! Firstly, it is made of stainless steel, which was the hardest material to work with in the early era of watchmaking. Next, the barrel-shaped lugs swing or flex back and forth! The salmon dial is completely original with only minor aging and having blued steel hands and sub-seconds. The manual winding Westfield (by Bulova) movement was just cleaned, overhauled, and is keeping time.
