Description
This vintage 1940s 18k rose-gold oversized Chronographe Suisse measures a large 37mm across and is in very fine condition without any major dings. There are usually some minor (hardly visible) dings on the bezels – but this one looks clean overall. The original champagne-coloured dial is in very good overall shape with gilt reflective Arabic numerals, white seconds track, black telemeter, sub-seconds, and 30-minute chrono registers. There is some usual aging to the dial and flaking to the seconds track, but not at all detracting. The original handset is gold toned. The original inner metal dust cover is present. This Swiss-made chronograph movement is manual winding, was recently cleaned, and is accurate with all functions working perfectly.
