Description
Here is a stainless steel Eterna Birks with a military-style dial measuring a full-sized 35mm and dating to around the late 1940s. The original and deep-black dial with raised lume markers, pencil-style hands, and sub seconds is essentially close to pristine. Note the interesting, inwardly curved lugs on the fine stainless steel screw-back case. The manual winding Eterna movement was just cleaned and is accurate. Birks is Canada’s equivalent to USA’s Tiffany’s (a high-end watch and jewelry retailer).
