Description
Here is a vintage 1940s Girard-Perregaux measuring a very large 40.5mm in a rhodium-plated case and stainless steel snap back. This watch features a military turning bezel, allowing the triangle to mark a time. These watches were produced for the war effort during WW2. The manual winding (signed) movement was just cleaned and is accurately keeping time. The amazing-looking dial was expertly restored many years ago and retains its matching lume on its blued steel hands. The vintage crown is still present and the lugs are fixed.
