Description
This ladies Girard-Perregaux cocktail watch is from the 1940s and measures the usual dainty and smaller size of 13x26mm lug to lug. It is more unusual to find a stainless steel case such as this with a matching steel bracelet. The dial is really quite amazing having two-tone salmon and silver colouring with reflective markers and Roman numerals along with blued steel hands. The manual winding Girard-Perregaux movement is very fine quality and was just cleaned and is accurate. Girard-Perregaux still makes expensive watches to this day.
