Description
This vintage Gruen Autowind (automatic) from the 1940s measuring 27mm without the crown, which is not smaller like most Gruen watches of the same era. It has a curved crystal and teardrop-shaped lugs! Also, unlike many of the Gruens of this similar style, this one is a bumper automatic winding! The automatic, Gruen, bumber, hammer winding movement was just serviced and is ready to provide years of use! The silver dial is completely original, having raised gold Breguet numerals and sub-seconds register. The gold-filled original case is excellent with no wear-through whatsoever! Also, notice the original signed Gruen winding crown. This automatic Gruen is a difficult item to find.
