This is a vintage, 1940s Gruen Veri-Thin vintage watch measuring 26x33mm lug to lug, which is a smaller-sized watch, as they often were in the early 1940s. The gold-filled case is perfect with no wear, curved lugs, and stainless steel snap back. The restored black dial is very striking, having Arabic numerals, sub-seconds and gold stick hands, all in like-new condition! Note the signed Gruen winding crown. The manual winding Gruen Veri-Thin 17-jewel movement was just meticulously cleaned, keeping accurate time, and is sparkling! This restored Gruen Veri-Thin is amongst the cleanest you will ever find.
