Description
This is a rare, vintage, 1940s Longines chronograph housing the legendary 13ZN movement, which was an in-house movement produced by Longines and is of the finest quality. The original and massive 37mm 18k solid-gold Longines snap-back case is without a ding. Notice the beveled, chunky lugs. The prized, all-original dial with original blued steel hands is evenly aged with red telemeter scale. I really love the spectacular patina that this dial has taken on over the years! Yes, there is some fading in the writing, but the dial does have vintage charm and is all original. Notice the serial number on the movement that also matches the case. This prized 13ZN Longines movement was recently, meticulously dismantled and cleaned, with all functions working perfectly and accurately. These Longines chronographs with the in-house movements are incredibly rare, important, and highly sought after by vintage watch collectors world-wide.
