Description
Look at this rare and interesting vintage, 1940s Merit Tonarist alarm watch made by German watch company Hanhart. The turning of the bezel actually sets the alarm. The gold-filled case with steel resonator on the case back measures 35.5x46mm. The dial is completely original with bullseye configuration and 12:00, 3:00, 6:00, 9:00 Arabic-numeral arrangement. We have never seen another one of these and don’t expect to anytime soon!
