Description
This vintage, military watch is made by Mimo (Swiss-made) and likely saw military action. This particular watch was produced for the German military in 1940-1942. The 35mm screw-back case on this watch exhibits very fine shape. These cases are sleek, slender, and truly look fantastic to wear on the wrist. The letters “D” & “H” in the serial number denote German military issue. These watches also look larger, due to the large dial and narrow bezel. The manual winding Mimo movements are of fine quality and was produced by Girard-Perregaux. This one was just cleaned and is accurate. The original dial on this Mimo is all original, having radium markers and matching hands, large sub-seconds, and gold gilt print. The hands may have been re-lumed in the past.
