Description
This elongated and curved 1940s Omega rectangular watch is all original. The gold-filled stepped-bezel contract case (made for Omega by ID to circumvent import duties) is original and correct. This is a very substantial case, measuring 14.7x47mm. The wear on the high points is only visible in our close-up photos and not with the naked eye. The original dial with raised Breguet numerals, again, looks more evenly aged and cleaner with the naked eye. The just-cleaned manual winding movement is fully signed Omega and original, still retaining the dust cover.
