We were pleased to find this vintage 1940s 9k solid-rose-gold Rolex ladies watch. The 9k gold Handley case was Rolex’s choice for the British market to eliminate tariffs when importing Rolex watches. The just-cleaned manual winding movement is correctly signed Rolex under the dial and is accurate. The two-tone quadrant dial was beautifully restored and maintains the original blued steel hands. This fine Rolex measures 13.7×31.3mm lug to lug. Notice the screw pins fastening the band. You will love the dainty look of this solid-gold 1940s British-market Rolex.
