Here is a rare 1940s 21x42mm Canadian-version Rolex Standard with a completely original art-deco two-tone dial and blued steel hands! The gold-filled ID case is a drivers style and is original to the watch. The signed ID cases were used by Rolex and cased in Canada to circumvent import duties. When we found this watch, the case was badly worn, so we had it re-plated to perfection. The original caliber 59 movement was just cleaned and is accurate. It is signed “ROLEX” under the dial as it should be. This original dial and rare driver-style case really looks spectacular!
