Description
This 28.5mm all-original and correct, 1940s Rolex Tudor is one of Rolex’s Canadian-market oddities! In the 1940s and early 1950s, we find dual-branded-dial watches that were marketed and sold only in Canada. This watch is all original, including the dial with green radium numerals. The heart-shaped blued steel hands are also original. The gold-filled case by Rolex is also correct. It was made by Pioneer and seen used on the Rolex Victory and Skyrocket as well. This dial configuration and hands is also seen on the uncommon Tudor Donald. The manual winding signed Tudor movement (by Rolex) was just cleaned and is accurately keeping time. These smaller boys-size Rolex watches are quite collectable and this dual name example is one we rarely find.
