This vintage 1940s all-original Solar (made by Rolex) measures 29.2×36.1mm (1.1×1.4x.41″) in sterling silver with steel case back made by ID watch case company (original). Keep in mind that these are smaller-sized watches. These watches were marketed for the Canadian market only. The non-screw-down crown is dustproof (original). This original two-tone dial with minute track, red 24-hour register, original pencil hands, and red sweep seconds is as fine as it gets! These watches were marketed to Canadian soldiers going overseas.
