Description
This circa 1942 WW2-era pilot’s watch by Jardur is already well known as a true tool watch, utilized by pilots and highly coveted. This piece has some special history attached to it. We bought this watch from the original family (handed down). The original owner was a female pilot trainer. Included is her original pilot’s log with numerous dated entries! The inscription on the back is rather nostalgic, I love it. The watch is simply beautiful. It measures 36.5mm in a gold-plated case, displaying amazingly preserved condition with turning bezel. The original multi-coloured dial in two-tone with original hands is brilliantly preserved. The Valjoux 72 manual winding (legendary) movement was just cleaned and is functioning perfectly. All hands are reset correctly and the watch is accurate. This is a special collector’s piece with provenance. In person, this watch looks perfectly preserved.
