Description
This is a circa 1942 Omega manual winding WW2-era vintage watch housing the famed and fine Omega caliber 30T2 manual winding movement, which was known to be very robust and reliable in the 1940s WW2 watches. This movement was just cleaned and is running smoothly and accurately. The dial and pencil hands are original. Notice the interesting 12:00, 2:00, 4:00, 8:00, 10:00 Arabic-numeral configuration. The Arabic lume is original. The original pencil-style blued steel hands had the lume updated at some time in the past. The flat crown (unsigned) is correct. The stainless steel snap-back (Patek-Philippe-Calatrava-style) Omega original case looks amazing for the age of the watch; measuring 32.5mm. This is one heck of a great-looking original example of a WW2-era vintage Omega.
