1942 Rolex Oyster Centregraph

Description

Here is a very uncommon Oyster Centregraph ref. 3478 made by, Rolex for the Canadian market only and dates to about 1942. These are known as the boys-size (29mm) watches and were sold to Canadian soldiers going overseas in WW2. This silver dial is completely original including the aged lume, blued steel pencil hands, and red sweep seconds. The movement is the caliber 59 and is correctly signed “ROLEX” under the dial. Our Rolex watchmaker just serviced this watch and is keeping accurate time. The original Oyster-patented winding crown still remains. The stainless steel case with original Oyster back displays very clean condition.
