This is a very fine and very rare 1944 Omega in solid 14k yellow gold. The 30T2RG movement is truly one of the most iconic and classic watch movements ever produced. It is amongst the ‘holy grail’ of Omegas. This watch’s simple, graceful lines and timeless style have outlived all fads of the day. The original Omega 33mm, 14k solid-gold shiny case is without dings, scratches, and retains hallmarks. This watch is not large, but is a classic size like a Patek Calatrava. The dial on this watch is completely original, which is very rare to find and retains the original rose-toned hands and blued steel sweep seconds. The large sub-seconds is quite prominent. The movement is the famed 30T2RG, which is considered to be amongst the finest award-winning chronometer-grade movements produced by Omega. This movement is accurate. Notice the detail and polishing of the wheels. These are truly beautiful movements.
