This 1947 Gruen Curvex is solid 14k yellow gold and looks fantastic! The solid-gold Gruen Curvex case measuring 22.6x42mm lug-to-lug retains the original Gruen winding crown and faceted glass crystal. This dial was restored a long time ago and has some aging but still looks very good with the naked eye. The original raised gold-toned markers are present, as well as the original modern-style hands. This Gruen Curvex manual winding movement was just cleaned and is keeping accurate time. This is a fabulous-looking solid-gold Gruen Curvex on the wrist.
