Description
This circa 1947 solid-rose-gold Omega is a stunning watch on the wrist! The case looks fairly large, measuring 37.5mm and the lugs extending it to 44.6mm. These solid-gold large-cased Omegas are hard to find. The Omega crown is signed. This watch actually has a mineral-glass crystal. There is a small scratch between 7:00 and 8:00 on the crystal, but it is not detracting. The restored dial retains the original rose-gold-toned dot markers, rose-toned hands, and blued steel sweep seconds. There is a hardly noticeable ding on the dial below the centre post, which is still not detracting. The fully serviced manual winding Omega caliber 280 movement is amongst the cleanest I’ve ever seen, it truly shimmers.
