Here is a very interesting 34mm gold-plated circa 1947 Rolex Precision with stainless steel, signed screw back. Normally, these non-oyster Rolex Precision watches were produced for the Canadian market, with the cases being produced in Canada, reducing the import duties. The 34mm gold-plated case with reeded edge and steel back looks quite good. These watches had a non-oyster and non-signed generic winding crown. The original dial features raised gold-toned art-deco-style Arabic numerals, Dauphine hands, and sub-seconds. The manual winding Rolex Precision movement was just cleaned and is accurate.
