Description
This circa 1947 Tudor Oyster Devon has a rare and original black dial with silver gilt print and original radium numerals. The steel case by Rolex is a large and full size 34mm. The original Oyster-patented crown is still present. The fine manual winding Tudor movement was just cleaned and is accurate. Watches such as the Essex, Bristol, Devon, and London were all produced by Rolex in the 1940s and 1950s for the commonwealth market. These Tudor Oyster watches are very collectable and are becoming quite difficult to find.
