Description
Here we have a Tudor Oyster Sussex measuring a full-sized 34mm, which is actually one of the largest of the Tudor dress watches from 1947. The small-rose dial with radium numerals and original blued steel pencil hand has a fine and attractive light patina. The gold-plated case with steel Rolex Oyster back looks amazing and even has the correct and early Rolex winding crown, which still screws down. The fine manual winding Tudor movement was just cleaned and is accurate. Rolex produced these uncommon watches for the Commonwealth market along with the models Essex, Chester, Devon, London, and Bristol.
