Description
This ref. 4325 circa 1949 35.5mm (7.9mm thin) Rolex watch is known as the “Metropolitan” and was marketed to business men. This 14k solid-gold dress watch displays excellent overall condition with a finely restored dial, original dimple crown, and original leaf hands. The solid-gold engine-turned bezel is quite crisp for its age. The applied gold Arabic numerals and markers on the dial are also original. The rugged caliber 700 manual winding Rolex movement was just cleaned and is accurate.
