Description
This is very uncommon 18k solid-rose-gold, large 36mm Eska chronograph from circa 1950! The Eska Watch Company was founded 1918 in Grenchen, Switzerland by S & E Kocher and was known for their chronograph watches. They also, in 1930, registered and produced fine watches under the the name “Royce” into the 1980s. The Swiss-made 17-jewel, manually wound Eska Valjoux 22 movement was just cleaned and is sparkling with all functions working perfectly! The solid, 18k rose-gold case was not overpolished and is shimmering with no dings. This is not a light, flimsy case like the Suisse chronographs, it is more substantial, having pink-gold square pushers and signed snap back! The originals two-tone dial is stunning.
