Here is an interesting (unpolished) 14k solid-gold Swiss automatic made by Collison Commodore from the 1950s. The 34mm solid-gold case has elongated and curved beefy lugs with a wide bezel and screw-back. The original Explorer-style dial with the Arabic 12:00, 3:00, 6:00, 9:00 raised markers and arrows has aged beautifully. The dagger hands are original as well. The movement is a 30-jewel automatic that was just cleaned and is accurate. I have never heard of this Swiss brand, but I simply loved the overall look of this watch, especially the dial!
