Description
This is a very interesting and uncommon vintage 1950s Etna Swiss-made vintage watch that displays the date and also, a rotating bezel aligns the day of the week manually with the date! Notice on the rotating bezel the words “MOD DEP,” which meant they were applying for a patent for this new function! The 37mm stainless steel snap-back case with sprawling lugs is in fine condition – a hefty watch that demands a glance by those passing by! The original eggshell dial with red date register, sub-seconds, lume, blued steel pencil hands, reflective Arabic numerals, and rotating day-of-the-week bezel is spotless! The manual winding Swiss-made movement was recently cleaned with all functions working properly. These types of complications are the watches that will become the future collectibles.
