Description
This is a 1950s Gruen Pan-America housed in a 32mm gold-filled and steel screw-back case that displays fine condition. The horned lugs extend to 38.5mm. The dial displays 24-hour time, making these watches popular with pilots at the time they were introduced. The manual winding and fine Gruen movement was just cleaned and is accurately keeping time. This slate dial is quite special, being all original along with the blued steel handset. It is uncommon to find this version of two-tone 24-hour slate dial.
