Here is a vintage 1950s Gruen Veri-Thin from the 1950s, housed in a 26x39mm gold-filled case and having elongated lugs with decorative art-deco-style sides. We have chosen to keep the quadrant-style two-toned dial all original, as in real life, it looks very good. The spotting tends to show up more in my close-up pictures rather than on your wrist, where it looks truly vintage! The original Dauphine-style hands remain. We love the look of the simple ‘floating’ sub-seconds. The manual winding Gruen movement was just cleaned by our watchmaker and is accurate. The case is in spectacular condition and is without any wear.
