Description
Look at this all-original and very hard-to-find German-military Hanhart Flieger pilot’s chronograph measuring a hefty 39mm and a thick 22.5mm in a nickel over brass case. This version of the watch dated to the 1950s and was utilized by German medical staff and officers. This watch retains German markings on the case back. The rotating coin-edge bezel is original. In fact, this is a prime original example all around, including the dial, hands, and movement – never refinished anywhere! The original dial is the cleanest we have ever seen. All the lume on the hands and dial is still intact. The manual winding caliber 15 flyback movement made by Hanhart was just cleaned and is accurate. The chronograph hand sometimes returns very slightly to the right or left of 12.
