Description
This watch must be seen in person to be appreciated. This is a 1950s Helbros chronograph with a (just-cleaned) signed manual winding Helbros movement that is functioning perfectly and accurately. The 36mm chrome-plated case with steel screw back has a vintage look, with some wear on the lugs, but is beautifully balanced when you see the whole package. The glossy black original dial with steel Dauphine hands and red “H” insignia look amazing on the wrist. It is very uncommon to find such a clean and original black chronograph dial. The vintage stretch bracelet that was installed on the watch really suits the overall look. The top button starts and stops the chronograph and the bottom resets the chronograph hand to 12:00.
