Description
Here is a 1950s, 36mm, triple-date automatic winding Heuer watch marketed by Baylor. The stainless steel case sparkles and has a signed Heuer screw back. The recessed crown is original. The original dial is as fine as one will ever find, and rare in jet-black having outer gold date register, Arabic numerals, day/date aperture in English, date pointer, and sub-seconds register having concentric circles. We just had the Swiss-made Heuer, complicated and robust rotor winding, automatic movement cleaned and overhauled and is keeping excellent time, with all functions working perfectly. Finding an original black dial Heuer triple-date automatic complication is uncommon. This entire watch is really something to gaze upon. The deep-black dial against the shimmering steel provides a mysterious contrast that any watch enthusiast cannot resist! Please note – only change the date when the time is set between 12:00-6:00 to avoid damage to the movement. Always be very gentle with the setting pushers. We see many complicated watches damaged from people depressing the setting buttons too firmly.
