Here is a full-sized 1950s automatic winding IWC with a 14k solid-gold case and a stainless steel back. This entire watch is original, including the fine dial with raised gold-toned markers, Dauphine hands, and sweep seconds. The winding crown is also original to the watch. This automatic movement is the very fine rotor winding caliber 853, which we just had fully cleaned and regulated for accurate timekeeping. The case on this watch measures 34mm. Steel-backed cases are practical, as they are less prone to scratch and wear. Automatic winding International Schaffhausen watches are highly desired amongst collectors and make a fine every-day-wearing watch.
