Description
This large IWC 18k gold 1950s vintage automatic watch is an uncommon example. Finding larger-than-average cases such as this is becoming more difficult these days. This square case in solid gold measures 32x33mm and is very fine in its condition and definition. Furthermore, the movement is the IWC automatic winding, rather than a manual winding, which was just cleaned and is accurate. The jet-black dial was expertly restored and maintains the original Dauphine hands and sweep seconds. This is an imposing and fine-looking vintage watch on the wrist.
