Description
This vintage 1950s Longines looks quite interesting with its scrolled-lug case measuring 21.5x37mm. The gold-filled case has highly scrolled lugs and a stainless steel snap back. This is a contract case, and was likely made in North America to circumvent duties. The Longines manual winding movement was just cleaned and is accurately keeping time. This dial retains its original raised gold-toned Arabic markers and hands. The dial was restored a long time ago. Notice the faceted quadrant crystal, it does distort the dial in my photos but when you look at the watch in person, it really looks fabulous and you could see details clearly. The hands are straight, it is just the faceted crystal that is distorting them on an angle in my photo.
